Through the rest of her book, Full Frontal Feminism, Jessica Valenti discusses men on feminism, how sexism and feminism are connected, and beauty standards. She emphasizes how men are affected by the stereotypes that are put towards them like women. In society, men have to put on this fa sad of being the tough guy, with no feelings. Also, all men have to be violent, like all men can't have emotions. When talking about this she uses examples from commercials like, Milwaukee's Best Beer, which states act like "a girl" and be killed by a giant beer can. From that topic, she discusses how sexism and feminism are connected. Men are actually afraid of feminist, because with men, sexism means that they're the ones with power, rights, and they're dinner has to be made for them and feminist go against that view.
On other topics, Valenti discusses the Beauty Cult or in other words beauty standards. Women have been taught that if you don't like it, cut it off. She say's its a distraction to be worried about your appearance 24/7, just like everything else society throws at us women. Valenti, states that she doesn't wont young women and women period being caught up with this. But, these three topics were just a couple in the final chunk of Full Frontal Feminism, that Jessica Valenti talked about. It's more to feminism, besides just being a male basher, she wants us to know its about equality of our rights and what women should be able to do, without being looked down upon. And now that we've read this book, Jessica Valenti's last request , is that we as women spread the knowledge of feminism among more women and stand up for what's right.
