Branded:Chunk 1

In Alissa Quart's Branded, Quart elaborates on how brands influence teenagers. she discusses how the history of branding began through magazines, movies, books, catalogs, and the internet. The teenage era also attracts the producers of these brands, which makes them use teenage advice on how to advertise their product in order to appeal to other teenagers. They are called trend spotters. i the first chunk Alissa Quart also speaks about parents and how they are obsessed with brads and wanting to shop at the same stores as their children. This is all reasons why Alissa Quart wrote this book and throughout it she gives solutions to help teens realize what is more important.
